We visited multiple stone suppliers in the RDU area and Stone Basyx had the best selection and the most helpful and friendly staff. They were super patient with us even though we made multiple visits and had a hard time making up our minds. We would definitely recommend them!

Visited Stone Basyx today, as referred by our local fabricator. Jodi showed us around the whole warehouse, and could not have been more helpful! She was thorough in explaining about all the types of stone and their features, pros and cons, as well as explaining how the process works. Jodi was very patient with our questions. We found a few beautiful quartzite slabs for possible use in our house renovation, and are looking forward to working with Stone Basyx and our local fabricator to help create a gorgeous new home!

Ok, they were fantastic! I was trying to get to them earlier during the day but my GPS took me the wrong way. So I had to go after work and they found the slab that I wanted to look at and it was absolutely Beautiful! So excited to see what it will look like in my kitchen!
Beautiful showroom / warehouse! The abundant natural light from the skylights makes the slabs look totally different. Great selection and live inventory catalog. Tia was incredibly helpful in showing me what I thought I wanted but she also suggested similar alternatives that I ultimately preferred. I would definitely recommend this distributor.
I was very pleased with my visit. When I arrived they showed a short video explaining how things were marked and safety instructions for touring their warehouse. From there, I was able to walk through the warehouse, find the stone that I wanted, and bring the information back. A very smooth operation. When I had a question and wanted to see some extra stone, one of the employees quickly took care of me -- arranging to move stones and ensuring I got to see everything I wanted. Would use them again.

I just had a fantastic experience with Jodi at Stone Basyx. Due to some damage, we have to replace our kitchen counters (floors and some cabinets too). We loved our counters and Jodi helped me find similar slabs of granite. She was amazing to work with. Highly recommend.

Picking out stone is a novel experience. It was really helpful to have great support from the staff at Stone Basyx. I worked with Tia who was super helpful on site; she also had great follow up. I wasn't happy with the available soapstone they had on site, but Tia helped me locate alternative options from one of their other sites. It was good to get an explanation of how the system works. She was very patient and also walked me around so that I could look at other options I might be interested in. Tia was great to work with. Stone Basyx has an amazing inventory of stone to choose from!

If I could give these ladies a grade above 5 stars, I WOULD!! They were just excellent to work with! I am a very detail oriented person and I knew for our kitchen remodel after a water issue, the granite would be the focal point that tied the entire kitchen together so I visited several times. The slabs I wanted were in Kernersville. I drove there and selected the slabs and they transferred to Raleigh! Stone Basyx is definitely the place to use for any new or remodel if you will install new granite. They have so many choices and the girls are very patient and knowledgeable! First time going to Stone Basyx in Raleigh, NC. Very impressive warehouse with lots of natural light which makes viewing slabs easier. Tia guided me through the process of making a selection and the staff accommodated me by moving several slabs around while I waited. Highly recommend a visit to Stone Basyx! It will not disappoint!

Very impressed from beginning to end.. Jodi is a great resource & provided directions about the process. She also provided some useful tips & offered assistance throughout the process. Warehouse is well organized, well lit and easy to find what you need. I haven't been on the website yet to check inventory but that is a nice feature & from what I saw in the warehouse there was plenty to choose from without being overwhelming.
My wife and I had a wonderful experience at STONEBASYK today. Although we arrived later in the day, Jodi and Lakeshi provided a warm welcome which exuded a professional presence. Mikila provided the ground rules with an ever present smile which silently proclaimed “just ask me if you need any help”. The large open warehouse is well lit and offers a menagerie of optically enthralling colors and patterns. After we identified a few choice pieces, Tia took over and arranged the movement of the large slabs so we could get a full view. Mind you, it was 4:35pm and they were set to close at 5pm. Nonetheless, Tia encouraged us to see what we wanted and even produced some water and clothe in order to wet down the soapstone so we could understand its final appearanceafter oiled. The gentlemen operating the heavy equipment were very respectful and never whispered a word or sent any body language that they were irritated at our last minute requests. We absolutely plan to return to pick out our final stone. As a parting gift, I left them with a solid dose of my dad humor. They were so poised that they never revealed that they were laughing at me, it with me. Hugs, Jim

My husband and I have been to several places looking for the perfect Quartzite for our kitchen remodel. Of course the one we loved was low in stock and we weren't very optimistic there was enough to do our project. Tia helped us through this process and even called later in the day that she found another slab. We are so appreciative of Tia and her help. She went above and beyond and we'll definitely recommend Stonebasyx due to her excellent customer service.

Stone Basyx in Raleigh is a great source for countertop materials. They have a wide selection to choose from in quartz, granite, and marble. The sample sizes were nice (larger than the 3" x 3" at some building and supply stores) and free; they were about 8" x 4". The customer service was amazing. Jodi helped us and she was quite knowledgeable, as I am sure the others are as well. Safety in the warehouse was evident from the posted guidelines (which you read and sign) and from the care with which the customer service agent directs you around the warehouse an away from the equipment. A great experience.
We had an incredible experience with Stone Basyx! The selection is amazing and the employees are the best! I'm sure we about drove Jodi and Jose crazy with all of our questions and changes in slab selection, but they never showed it and found us a a beautiful slab of White Carrara! Stone Basyx has a great selection of all kinds of stones at all price levels. Jodi was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and took the time to show us all of our options. She also was very patient and made sure we found just the right color quartzite for our project.

This place is fantastic! I was on a quest to find the most perfect slab of Fantasy Brown and I am so glad they had it. Mary was so helpful, kind, and patient with me. She knew exactly what I had in mind and she took me right to it! The soonest I was able to get there each time I visited was 10 minutes before they closed, yet she was just as helpful as if I had arrived at 1pm. Another supplier I had gone to was less than pleased at my near closing arrival time and kicked me out the moment the clock hit 5pm. But, back to Stone Basyx, they have a huge selection and if they don't have exactly what you want on site, they WILL find it for you. Just a great supplier!
Selection is amazing (almost overwhelming) and the associates are competent and helpful. The warehouse and outdoor lot are well organized. Spent my morning picking out specific slabs with customer service pro, Mary, and found the perfect options for my new home. Her communication with the fabricator has been stellar so far. Best stone source I’ve seen in Raleigh… they offer a unique, interesting, natural selection of stone. This place is not to be missed if you’re looking for different, organic, stone beauties. A novices at picking stone counter products, I found Mary Packwood to be extremely helpful to my wife and I! She answered all our questions, and was very patient as we looked over a warehouse full of stone products. Excellent customer service is hard to find these day, and Mary excelled at it. I instructed my contractor to buy all our stone for our remodel from this company, based on our experience with her.
Lucy went above and beyond to make sure all four of our slabs were displayed next to one another. She even ushered our daughter and designer to our location in the warehouse when she later arrived. Super impressed and glad to be doing business with Stone Basyx.
We had a WONDERFUL experience! The space is open, well lit and inviting. Mary offered us exceptional customer service. She personally assisted us by walking us through the aisles, making recommendations and showing us great options. In fact, we selected our slabs from the one she thought would be perfect for us. She went so far as to have the forklift guys come out and move them around so we could pick the exact 2 slabs.Other places we've gone are dark, hot and offer no assistance. Stone Basyx deserves kudos as does Mary. She, specifically, is a true gem.
